Coline Blaizeau is a PhD student in medieval French literature at the University of Exeter. Fully funded by the Niklaus-Cartwright studentship, she studies marvels and the ways in which they are used to reflect on notions of reality and fiction in the Roman de Perceforest. Previously, she completed a Master of Studies in Medieval and Modern Languages at St Peter’s College, University of Oxford, where she graduated with Distinction. Coline has been involved in the creation and development of Xanthos from its very beginning, to which she has contributed her experience as a freelance translator, copyeditor, and proofreader. Other interests include writing, fencing, and travelling.
